White Spooless SA Filament PLA 1.75mm 1Kg
Save money buying spooless filament. How. It is cheaper because there is no box and also no plastic spool that you pay for if you only needed the filament to do your 3d printing projects.
To use it you need to use one of your old filament spools laying in the corner or in the bottom of your shelve.
All you need to do is these 3 easy steps below:
1. Simply cut your old SA Filament spool in half
2.Download the C-Clip Bracket from here: https://www.safilament.co.za/spooless.htm
3. Print the 2 files
4. Place the refill in the spool and close the bracket. Continue printing as usual.
There is also a video showing the assembly process:
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a bio-degradable polymer produced from crops such as maize.
It is harder than ABS, melts at a lower temperature, and has a glass transition temperature of about 60 °C. Bed temperature can be between 0 to 60 °C.
The recommended print temperature is between 190 – 210 °C dependent on your printer.
This is high quality PLA 1.75mm filament with consistent diameter and roundness that makes it ideal for 3D printing. (with a tolerance of ± 0.05mm)
It is wound on a 1kg spool and sealed in a bag with desiccant to reduce moisture and shipped in a cardboard box.
Spool Size: diameter 200mm, inner hub 58mm & width 55mm
